A car dealership in Brighton, Michigan has erected a large sign to discourage motorists to donate money to a panhandler claiming he turned down a full time job.
The Honda car dealer placed the sign on one of its cars which was photographed and went viral on the internet.
According to the sign, the dealer wrote: ‘Please do not give anything to this panhandler. We offered him a full-time job at $10 an hour. He said: “I make more money than any of you.” He did not want a job. Please donate to a more worthy cause.’
The dealership is located near a busy intersection for I-96 on the outskirts of Brighton, Michigan.
According to locals, the panhandler has been targeting the area for the past two years.
The image was posted on Reddit where it attracted 60,000 views.
