McCain: Trump administration ‘partially to blame’ for Syrian chemical attacks

Isn’t it something how vocal and aggressive politico McCain can be now that he has a President in office from his own party?  Sixteen years in the Middle East and counting…and how many lives lost and maimed and trillions of dollars spent over those years?

Hey “Armchair Politico Warrior” Johnny McCain, when you become President, you and your lackey Lyndsey Graham can set the policy you want!  In the meantime, it is The Don’s show!  Get on board or retire dipstick!

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on Sunday said he believes the Trump administration is “partially to blame” for prompting the Syrian regime to carry out chemical attacks against citizens last Tuesday.

“I think it was partially to blame,” McCain told CBS “Face the Nation” host John Dickerson when asked if the administration’s public statements encouraged the Syrian President Bashar Assad.

The Senate Armed Services chairman said the administration’s recent comments — including from Secretary of State Rex Tillerson — that the Syrian people should determine Assad’s fate likely played a role in the regime’s decision to attack its own people due to a lack of fear about foreign consequences.

McCain did express support for the administration’s missile strikes: “Taking this action I support and was important.”

McCain also said Tillerson’s earlier comment Sunday that the U.S. is focused on wiping out the Islamic State before stabilizing Syria is a flawed strategy.

“We believe that the first priority is the defeat of ISIS. That by defeating ISIS and removing their caliphate from their control, we’ve now eliminated at least — or minimized a particular threat not just to the United States, but to the whole stability in the region,” Tillerson told CBS “Face the Nation” host John Dickerson.

“And once the ISIS threat has been reduced or eliminated, I think we can turn our attention directly to stabilizing the situation in Syria. We’re hopeful that we can prevent a continuation of the civil war and that we can bring the parties to the table to begin the process of political discussions,” Tillerson added.

McCain was adamant that the U.S. can do both at the same time and that only by doing it that way, was a long-term fix possible.

    Words matter…

Yes, we should have “taken the oil” in Iraq…
… to pay for our next 50 years of occupying with at least 20,000 Military, HQ at Green Zone we paid $Billions to comfortably house 50,000!!

Just as we should have “taken the lithium” in Afghanistan…
… to pay for at least 50 years of occupying with 20,000 Military, HQ at Bagram Base we paid $Billions to comfortably house them all!!

HOW else would you bring Freedom and Peace – after 1,600 years of Muslim Majority tyranny under JIHAD and SHARIA that committed genocide against Non-Muslims and Muslims of other sects not towing the Taliban, ISIS, Bath Party, etc. totalitarian line??

Commie BARAMA created ISIS by not containing the peace GW Bush fought so bravely to bring the MidEast… we saw Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Somalia, Yemen, etc. all corrode back into the stoneage barbarism of ISLAMOFASCIST JIHAD TERRORISM.

We have seen Turkey, Pakistan, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, et al… all bowing before the Caliphates inevitable when “THE PROPHET” succinctly ordered JIHAD to spread SHARIA throughout the world.

We have seen all of socialist Europe ‘communally’ denying all EU nations the right to refuse entrance of Muslims… and violence consumes them daily as that invasion entrenches over 3-4%… NO GO ZONES are the norm, welfare now rampant, crimes against Non-Muslims off the charts!!

President TRUMP listened to his Military… and did a course correction! NOW… will he re-implement the BUSH Doctrine of winning the decadal War On Terrorism the planet must win ??
